Reporting - emails per day 2

What is the best way to get a report from Exchange that shows the # of emails sent by each user on a daily basis?

3rd party software time I think! Gfi Mail Essentials used to be the recommendation.

Thanks for the suggestion. I see that GFI Mailessentials can report on email usage, but is mainly a spam filter. We already have a spam filter solution in place, so we don't neccessarily need another one. Definitely an option, though. Any other ideas?

Promodag is reasonably cheap, $500 per server or something.

Most of the other utils like Quest MessageStats are licensed per mailbox.

Of course all will do a lot more than just the kind of report you mention above.

Glen Scales had a database for reporting on Access that was the defacto freebie of choice. Not sure if there is an update for 2007.
