Okay I just want to make a simple report and cannot seem to figure this out.

I have a form in my application that the user enters data say txtName.text

When I click the button I want that data on my form to be in the report. Everything I find is for crystal reports and I don't want to do that. I cannot for the life of me figure this out without putting it to the database first. I don't want to do that. How can I assign a value on a report to the value in my form?

Please help

Thanks,

There are several ways in creating "report". Which one did you choose?

Well I went to Add, New Item, Report.rdlc. Now I want to take information from my form and print it.

Thanks,

Well, I never used that. Sorry. But you can find some explaination in creating report using that control. Take a look at MSDN and use the "ReportViewer controls" keywords.

Good luck.
