Hello All,
I created an ODBC connection from crystal to a .csv file on my desktop. I then created a sub report that containes the majorty of the contencs for my report. I created a sub report so that I could link the ODBC to the access97 data base I'm trying to report on. The probjem is that when I click on File-Save As, I get an error "The handle is invalid

Doesn't sound good, the report might be corrupted.

If you're using MS Access anyway, why use the ODBC in Crystal, link the file into the MS Access database and create a query within Access as the data source for the Crystal report.

It's the single most useful thing about Access.

File->Get External Data->Link Tables

You can also just import it if it doesn't get updated.

I got this error when I upgraded to Windows XP/SP2

I fixed it by using File manager, finding the CRW32.EXE program (in c:\Program Files\Seagate Software\Crystsl Reports\) and setting it the compatibility to "Windows 2000"

Don't what that does behind the scenes but it fixed the problem for me.
