Report won't go to Legal size paper setting!

I had to change my default printer to legal paper for some reason. I'm using Access 2000 and when I change the page setup to legal paper in access it doesn't keep the change and sets it back to letter. After changing the paper to legal as a default in my printer's properties in printers and faxes setup it worked. weird
