Report Studio Prompt with Cube Datasource

I am relatively new to writing reports using a .mdc and absolutely cannot figure out, nor find much detail help on "exactly" what and where I need to do to setup a simple Prompt Filter using a cube. I have developed and used cubes via old version 7 and a little with/using Analysis Studio, but using Report Studio is a completely different animal in a lot areas. I have found bits and pieces of specific prompt type questions here and Cognos KB, but can't seem to piece any of them together to get anything to work. Any/all help is greatly appreciated.
