Hi,

When I generate the report, it will run for a while then it pop up a message box says that it is "out of memory". Does that mean that I have too many queries in the report? Is there a limit to the number of queries in the report? how to solve the "out of memory" problems? thanks

Rgds

In my experience, this is a result of either too many records returned or, more commonly, too many records excluded. I am not sure if there is a specific list recordset size that will generate this error, it is more a combination of things. My solution has always been to go back and simplify the queries feeding the report. If you haven't already, run each query in the report individually and see if it is a specific one running awry.

I agree, you might want to simplify the queries first. Another thought: does it "look" like an Access message or a Windows message? It may be an issue of too many applications open or a hardware issue. I have run into virtual memory issues in the past when running reports and I needed to add RAM to the computer to help solve it.

Just an idea...

I have tried running the query individually. It looks ok.
This problem occurs when i tried to add another new query to my report.
