I am working on a report that pulls all of it's data from a query with criteria (prompts for a date and a machine). In the report footer, I am using the SUM command on the data, but also have several graphs. When I run the report, it runs fine... but it asks me to enter the same criteria again for each chart. ie., I have 6 charts so I have to enter the date and machine 6 times for each chart, and one time for the SUM commands.

How do I force all of the charts and all to pull from the same criteria without me having to enter it each time?

Thanks!!

Hi

I assume you have the criteria as simplr [Enter Date] type entries in your query?

Instead create yourself a form (say frmMyForm), and include prompts for your criteria (eg a textbox control MyDate), and a button to run your report

Change your query criteria to Forms!frmMyForm!MyDate.

Ensure your form is open (but hidden if you wish) when the report runs Regards

Thanks... can you be a little more specific on how I would actually do that? Right now, I am using [Enter Date] and [Enter machine] in the query.

-How do I include the prompts in the new form for the criteria?
- What would I do once I create a button to have it hide the form and run the report?

Thanks!
