Report problem due to use of multiple printers

I ahve built a database that is used in field operations and I have the margins in page setup set (obviously to my printer) so when we deploy the database to users using different printers, it pushes what is one page (printout is actually a SNP file) on mine to two pages on theirs.

Is there code or something I can do to make it one page no matter what their printer is.

Also, the files being "printed" are actually being sent in SNP format.

Hi bailey,

This is a common issue, and you basically need to design the SNP to print to YOUR printer on one page only - have you done that (rather than print your REPORT to YOUR printer)?

If the SNP does print to YOUR printer on one page, and 2 pages on users printers, then you still need to adapt the report to produce an SNP that fits THEIR printers - not yours.

Printers print differently.

Same with monitors. I work with very high resolution, but this is useless to users who generally work with default low resolution - thus users can only see 50% of the area of some of my forms. I therefore have to create forms that are smaller on my screen to suit the user.

In effect, you need to produce software for your users - not you.

Sorry for the delay in reply. I obviously can not figure out how to tell it to print to MY printer only. I have been trying for days and still get multiple pages on other printers.

Can you help me with the code?
