I have graphs (In a Group Header) that show how well a particular marketing campaign is going. I want the end-user to be able to click on this (Via InfoView) which will take them to another report which shows detail on that particular marketing campaign.

I am using hyperlinks/report parts to get to the second report but it's displaying all the data from all campaigns... I have the data context sending the campaign name to the second report but I have no idea how to make the second report grab that data context and only display records relating to that campaign.

I know I could do this with a subreport but I might want to be able to click on that second page to go to yet another level of detail...

Is this possible with hyperlinking/report parts?

Thanks!

If by " I have the data context sending the campaign name " you mean that you're passing a parameter and using it in the record selection formula, then you should be fine.

It's generally best to post technical information, and use real technical terms.

In CR XI you can use the "Report Part Map Fields dialog box  " (check the HELP) to demonstrate this, if I understand you correctly. You need to open the traget and source reports, and do a copy->paste

Please remember to at least post your software version.

Crystal is getting better than they were at drill down, but there are still limitations, make sure you read up on it.

Hey Thanks for your response...

I am using CR XI Server...

I guess I am passing a parameter because my Data Context formula is: "/" + {Campaign.CampaignName} (Under Hyperlink Information in the Hyperlink tab of format).

.... Is this what you mean by passing a parameter? How do I pass a parameter to the other report? Then once it's passed how do I reference it in the other report?

The Report Part Map Field of Report Link doesn't seem to be an option because I am actually referencing another report.

Thanks!
