report paper size reverts back to default of letter 1

Our company has one major access database application with over 100 reports. 2 of these reports require legal paper. When the application is first opened we go to those reports and using page setup we change the paper size to legal. This works fine until the application is closed and later reopened. At this time one or both of the reports have defaulted back to letter size and must be reset to legal. If there is a way of forcing a report to always use a certain paper size it would be very helpful information. The application is presently written in Access 2000 but we intend to port it to 2007 in the near future.

Have you set the report to Specific Printer? Have you switched off Name Autocorrect?

The report has been set from "default printer" to "specific prnter". This did not seem to help. I'm afraid my level of programming expertise is intermediate at best and the original developing programmer is no longer available so terms like switching off name autocorrect is a new term to me.

You will find Name Autocorrect on the General tab of Options on the main menu.

Thanks Remou. This changing of name autocorrect seemed to do the job. We will have to test it under a lot of different conditions to be sure. Again thanks a bunch for your assistance. I have no idea why it worked but so far it seems to. I will forward the info to the original programmer for his opinions also.

The Name Autocorrect function comes fairly high on the list of really bad ideas in the opinion of many in this forum
