Hi,

I am using Access 2002. I have some landscape reports and some portrait reports. They work fine on my pc but for some reason they all preview as portrait on some other pc's.

I was thinking of using code to force landscape in the Report_Open event but I am not having any luck and decided it was time to turn to the pros. ;o) Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I have used this code, but I have Access 2003 win xp. or try going to tools/options and unchecking all Name Auto Correct boxes.

Put this in an On Open Event as VBA code

Application.Printer.Orientation = acPRORLandscape

Hi,

Thanks for your time and input. Unfortunately, I had already tried those 2 things and none of them had worked. I should mention that my database is an .mde file. I wonder if that has something to do with it. I hope someone else out there has an answer. *crossing fingers* I've run out of ideas.

Try applying the Microsoft Office 2002 patches to the computers that will be running this database. It should then read the orientation correctly instead of resetting it to the default. I did this and it worked for me.

Hi,

Thank you both for your help. It finally worked! I can sleep better now. :eek:P
