Hello, using SSRS 2008 I have tried to setup the URLs but am having problems. I am new to reporting services.

Using the configuration manager I have a Virtual Directory of Reports_myinstance for URLs the https works but the http does not. They are http://server:8080/Reports_myinstance and https://server.domain.local:8081/Reports_myinstance.

When I go to the Web Service URL the Virtual Directory is ReportServer_myinstatance, IP Address All Assigned, TCP Port 8080, SSL Certificate server.domain.local, SSL Port 8081 with the URLs showing as above with the ReportServer instead of Reports.

The Web Service just gives a page listing the URL.

IIS is running but I know very little if anything about IIS.

What I need is to have users access the report server. I can get a report to show up for non-web https but I am unable to get it to work over the network.

Thank you for any help,

I use the following similar URLs (in SQL 2005. I would think they would be the same/similar in 2008):

That will get you to the "home" directory. From there you will have to set up security, etc. for others to be able to see (and run) folders and reports.

Hope that helps!
