Hi,
Is there any way to show the report filter condition in the report header (A->B (filter ) like this) in MSTR 7.2.2 Web while drilling from one report to the another?

Another question: When I am drilling from one report, the drilled report is not opening in a new window in MSTR 7.2.2 WEB but when I am doing the same from MSTR 7.2.2 Desktop the drilled report is opening up in a new window. Is there any web preference setup I need to do for this?

Really Appreciate any help.

Thanks
Sanjay.

I believe you want to change the report header dynamically.
According to my knowledge, one can not dynamically change the header and show the filter conditions on the header in Desktop. May be one can do it in the Web version where one has to just modify the .asp pages.

Coming to you second question, When you drill in the web it opens in the same window and when you drill in the desktop it opens in new window. I don't think there is any preference to do this setting in the Web.

Thanks.

Madhu

You can have a new window open if you right click on the link and then tell it to open in a new window.

The report.asp page in Web has some VB script to get the name of the report being run, shouldn't be too much of a problem to gather the xml and get the report filter condition from it.

You can't always right click and open in a new window if you've got the right click drill enabled. Perhaps <<Shift>> left click will work here?
