I upgraded my laptop to newer, faster machine. Same OS (Windows XP Pro). Same VFP 7 SP1. Only major change was from Office 2003 to Office 2007.

Any reports i created on old laptop, the report groupings do "as told" and reprint at the top of each page. Any reports created on my new laptop, they simply will not repeat at the top of the next page. Yes i have data groups, yes they are set to Reprint Group Header on each page. They just don't!

I have checked the frx's against each other. They look identical for the ObjCode = 3 with NoRepeat set to T. Is there any other field in the frx i can check to see why the group header simply won't repeat??

This is driving me crazy, because it has always worked before.

Thanks

MsDDO,

Sometimes the default printer may affect the report output, are the printer installed exactly the same in the old and new laptop ?

Better than checking the printer itself, have you 'hacked' the Report Form to remove any inherited printer settings from the Form?

If not, look at: faq184-581

It may be more than actually required, but it works.

Good Luck,

I have code to hack the frx's before I build exes. So yes, all printer info is removed.

Thanks

Being created through VFP Report interface. No environment variables. The crazy part is all the old ones still work, even if i edit and change them on the new machine.
