I have a report that woked fine as Portrait, but ran out of room so we changed the paper size to Landscape. Now, the detail section prints more than the page height can allow so records are missed on the bottom of the page. How can this be fixed? I am new to Clarion and understand some stuff, but not all.

Hi!

In the Report Formatter, Click on View -> Page Layout view on the menu and visually see the different band areas. Use the mouse on the red markers and resize the areas so that they fit on a landscape page. An alternative way is to click on Edit -> Report Properties -> Position and edit the width and height accordingly.

My guess is that you did not adjust the detail area after changing the report from potrait to landscape.

Regards

Worked great! Thanks for your help. The more I learn Clarion, the more I'm beginning to like it.

Hi vbplg,

Same with me. I love Clarion and look forward to the new version. I wish the place I work at would use Clarion instead of the Oracle Forms product (which is supper buggy).

Truly,
Emad
