Repopulate a combo box

1st Question:

Does any have code for the following event.

I have a customer combo box which is limited to a list. When I enter a customer that is not in the list how do I make access say: "Enter New Customer? Yes or No" If "yes" then open customer form for me to add the customer and then go back to the origninal form I was using with the new customer in the combo box for me to select.

2nd Question
My problem is I have been doing this proceedure manually. but after I enter a new customer and then return to the form which contained the Combo box it is not there. I have to exit the form and then reopen it. When I do this the new customer is in the combo box. How do I get the combo box to show the new entry when I return to the original form?

try this me!combobox.requery - should do the trick

I inserted the following:

me!combobox.requery

which you suggested in the After Update event on the combo box and received an error. What am I doing wrong?
