This question must have been asked millions of times, but I still can not find an answer to it, including the FAQ here. In sending out emails from an UNIX account to non-UNIX addresses, I would like to have a different "reply to" address than the unix account in case people want to reply. Is it possible on AIX? command (mail, mailx, sendmail?) syntax? Thanks a bunch!

Ok, I got a second question. I send attachment using uuencode and pipe it to a mail command, I send long message using

mail .... << EOF
long messages
EOF

But I can not do both? what is missing? Thanks

Something like this:

Code:
(echo "Your message text" ; uuencode filename filename) | mail -r <reply_to> <recipient>

Regards,
Chuck
