Reply without attachment - Notes 6 client 2

I have read in several places that the Notes 6 client has a facility to "reply without attachment", and even the help features information on how to do this. The option to "reply without attachment" however is not present on my Notes client.

Is there anywhere that this has to be enabled, or does it have to be supported at the server end too? I as because the server we use is DOmino 5.

If you use an R5 server, you will not have the R6 design that allows that function.
The only option I can think of is to upgrade the server to R6.

Hi,

No need to upgrade your server for just this function.

Just convert your mailbox to R6 design. It will work fine using an R5 server, but not all new functions will work (color coding for example). You will have no errors or problems however using an R6 mailbox on an R5 server as long as your Notes client is R6.

You will then see the function you need in the "Reply" button and it will work.

If anyone is unable to upgrade to the R6 design and would like to obtain the same features, leave a post. I have the script that can strip the attachments. Let me know.
