reply e-mail text problem

hi all

in my 6.5.3 client when replying with history to an e-mail from just 1 domain the text appears as :

+ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-br+AD4APA-font size+AD0-2 face+AD0AIg-sans-serif+ACI-+AD4-test+ADw-/font+AD4- +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-br+AD4- +ADw-table width+AD0-100+ACU-+AD4- +ADw-tr valign+AD0-top+AD4- +ADw-td width+AD0-40+ACU-+AD4APA-font size+AD0-1 face+AD0AIg-sans-serif+ACI-+AD4APA-b+AD4-+ACY-quot+ADs

and it goes on

i have tried using a notes 5 client and replying with history works ok

any ideas why?
