i hope this is understandable...

My exchange server sends emails out with a company1.com as the reply address. i recently bought the domain called company2.com and have run a script to add new smtp entries for with the company2.com addresses so they can now receive mail being sent to both user@company1.com and user@company2.com.

I realise it could be a really simple question but, how do i change the server to send out emails and give company2.com as the reply domain?

My exchange 5.5 server sends emails out with a company1.com as the reply address. i recently bought the domain called company2.com and have run a script to add new smtp entries for with the company2.com addresses so they can now receive mail being sent to both user@company1.com and user@company2.com.

think this may be it- go into exchange admin, select a recipient, and the email addresses tab. you will have the company1.com and the company2.com addresses. The one which is bold is the reply address, to change it select the new one and click 'set as reply address' on the bottom of the box. The company2.com address will now be bold and this will be the address sent with a message to reply to.

hoope this is the solution anyhow!

cheers

I think they want to do everyone in the site in one go, not individually.
