Replication w/ XP CA between MF & Open Sys Targets

Has anyone attempted or know of a method to replicate via XP Continuous Access (CA). Here is the environment: Source is a Tagma Store array with FC (for open systems) and FICON for MF. Can we create a mirror and comingle the two groups in consistency groups to effectively restore? In other words, if I have dependencies on apps that ride across the MF and open systems environment, can I replicate w/ CGs on the other side without corruption or issues? THX

Sure, as long as you have the script and procedures to quiesce both ends at the same time.
