I am getting a COULD NOT GET LICENSE INFORMATION CORRECTLY error when trying to do a pull subscription. It doesn't say which server has the license issue. I have also tried to push the subscription and get the same error.

I have verified that both servers have separate serial numbers for SQL install (if that matters).

I don't see any info for this kind of error.

Any help would be great....

Check that all your SQL installations are Enterprise Editions. I once also tried replication with the personal edition, but got the same problem.

I figured out that the problem was that the license screen (along with the dictionary and protocol screens) were skipped during the install. And I didn't notice, so, by default the license was set to per client with 0 licenses installed. And during replication the other server was verifying license info and saw that I had none set.

When I upgraded to Service Pack 4 for SQL 7.0 I was prompted for the license info and remembered I hadn't entered it before. This was a really stupid error.... Thanks for you response though.
