Replacing "load variables" with . 1

Hi...I'm very new to flash so any help would be very much appreciated.
I have loaded dynamic text using an external file in a section on my stage (complete with scroll buttons, which work...woo hoo).

Is it possible now to kick out the loaded text with a .swf when the user clicks on a different button on the nav bar?

I couldn't get the text to get kicked out so I tried turned the the dynamic text part of it into a movie clip, which which seemed to work when I tested the scene but when I tested the movie, the text didn't appear.

If you mean you want to remove the text, there are many ways. The easiest is probably set the text to "" (empty string).

Thanks for the advice. I will read up on it and hopefully can get it to work.
