We are attempting to replace 5 OPX lines on a CS1000 (Option81). We are coming from a Cisco Call Manager release 10.5
We have 2 VG204 units tied to Cisco to XUT card, the inbound calls work just fine. The outbound are not pulling dialtone properly from the VG204 units.
IF I go offhook on the CS1000 private line, I get dialtone, but DTMF doesn't break the dialtone on the VG204.
If I go offhook on the TEST SET I have on the pairs, then go offhook on the CS1000, it dials out fine. The test set works every time by itself.

You could try reversing the polarity at the CS1K. Also post a print out of your route. The SPCT should be IMM. Also try changing the trunk SUPN to YES

I did try polarity as one of the 1st things. I have asked the local TECH to add SUPERvision. The SPCT is IMM.

What I have figured out, no one else has done this-- YET. Hopefully the other guys go to Avaya or Cisco and then we can setup a SIP trunk between us to solve this.

Hi UnklBuddy, can you please prt in LD 97= XCTP (should be DTMF=138)

Well, setting up a SIP trunk will bring a lot of other issues into the equation. I think it will work you just have to do some of the suggestions made.

Like MANO set to NO

I will check on the can you please prt in LD 97= XCTP (should be DTMF=138)
Since this is working with true OPX lines from a CS2100, the local TECHS are not very friendly to changes

If the CS1000 is in Alaw DTMF=138, IF MULaw DTMF=014

We have found, with a lot of testing, if I go off-hook with a monitoring test set, The CS1000 will immediately dial the digits. As if it were not seeing the correct termination Impedance.

i.e.: Press the PVR, dial digits, CS1000 phone Dialtone goes away.
The dialtone is still present on the Monitoring test set.
Switch test set on, you here digits dial and call goes through.

AND
Go offhook on the test set, press the PVR key and dial digits-call goes through

Right now it is set as above, TIMP=600, BIMP=3com.
We also removed jumpers on NT8d14BB Release 01 board to use <5000 feet short loop.
