Hi,

We need to replace faulty LSU card on BC 12.

Can we use the following procedure:
1.bldbi:bpos=x.x.x;
2-remove fail card from mag and insert new card there
3-bldbe:bpos=x.x.x,allfm=yes;

No test system BC12 at the moment.
Please Help.
Thank you!

No! To replace LSU or DSU you must block LIM traffic with BLLTI.
Once LIM traffic has ceased, press the LPU button once. (this will pause the LPU)
Replace the board. Press the LPU button once more. (This will start the LPU again)
Test the LIM with LSFTI
Deblock the LIM with BLLTE.

just pull it out and put a new one in-the lim will sort itself out no problem

You don't need to be a rocket engineer to change the LSU. Just as ceejay told is OK. The rest is cosmetic, and in any case, what if you cannot block the LIM (LSU is totally dead)? Just make it simple.....
