Replacing Hard drive pavilion Ze4800 laptop

I need all the help I can get at the moment. I am ready to skip my lap top across the street. I am trying to replace the hard drive and kepp running into unremovable plates. Can anyone help.

First, if you do try to "skip" it, Please Post back with how many times it skipped..

Would really like to assist you but each laptop is different and you did not post any information about what you own.

The hard drive is located behind one of the removable panels on the bottom of the laptop. These are retained by 1-2 screws. Once removed, the HD is directly accessible and there should be no plates in the way.

Use caution when removing and keep track of the drive retaining screws and replace them with the new drive as these are important.
