replacing defective 412-help

Tonight we are replacing a bad IPO 412 that was on 5.0 with a brand new unit that is coming up as 3.2.

Can we just use the backup from the defective 5.0 412 and upload it to the new 3.2 412? or are there intermediate steps we must take?

Indeed, upgrade and put the config back in.
The 412 has no extension ports so there is nothing that can go wrong.

a 412 can simply be taken to rel5 (6.1 if you really want at a cost)
