replacing avaya 4621SW IP Phone

Hi when repllaing a broken 4621SP IP phone how do i get the new instrument to come up with the persons Ext do you hit Mute and type reset on the keypad? thanks

After the phone downloads any new firmware needed, you probably will have to login to the phone, it should come up and ask for a extension and password.

what needs to be done when the phone just hangs and says enter command how can i put in the right Ext #
