Hi,

I'm looking to help some friends who own a small restaurant/ bar. They use a Micros system with Res3700 - 5.4. One of their printers is failing (printing blurry and jamming) so they bought an identical used printer. However, when they plugged in the new printer it would not respond. Can someone guide me through the process of setting up the new printer? It is the same make and model of their previous printer and they simply want it to replace the failing unit.

What kind of printer? A receipt printer? Order printer? General report printer? Make and model of printer would be helpful. And type. IP, IDN, serial.

It is an Epson TM-U220B model M188B. But I found the fix. I swapped out the port on the new printer with the port on the old. No need to configure anything.
