I have been subcontracted to replace a nam 4.1; hard drive OK.
Can I back up the db and the sekur and upload to another unit of the same version, or is it better to reload from scratch?

I think you can reload the DB but the ports go with the S/N.

Does that mean I do not upload the sekur file?

OK sekure tied to the orig NAM. I am replacing the whole box with a "new" one. Back up old unit - restore to the new unit will work?

All went well. It was a V 4.1 NAM being replaced with a V 4.0
with same number of ports. Saved DB- reloaded DB in V4.0 no problems. Thanks for the help.
