Hey guys,
I have 3 hard drives in a raid 5 config. One of the drives failed. Is it as simple as popping a new hard drive in? I have another hard drive which has data on it from another system. Do I need to format that drive first or can I just put it in and it will take care of itsself?

Thanks!

This depends on a variety of factors - Type of RAID: Hardware or Software? Controller and controller firmware. Size of the drive. System configuration.
