I am looking for suggestions and assistance on evaluating a replacement for our IVR system.

We are currently running VMX Works on our Serenade Octel 200. I know that the official replacement is Octel Designer. However, since Serenade is reaching its end of life (2008), I'd like a more long term replacement.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated! I am currently running a G3si R11 and Octel 200 4.1

W were in the same boat had the VMX200 and the option to upgrade. As far as upgrading to the new octel version it requires not only the new hardware but all the programming re-writing or converting and tweeked. You might as well just start from scratch.

We looked at the new Avaya Platform IR and syntellect. if you need any info let me know.

cheers jay

That would be very helpful! Which solution did you decide on and why (in comparison to the other product)? How smoothly did the integration procedure go? How long have you been running the new solution? Now that you've been using the new product for awhile, which features do you wish you could have?

Thanks!

we are still in the process of implementing the solution. what is your email address and I will email you some info.

cheers Jay
