I had a system IP500V2 8.0.? that died no lights with an IP office 500V2 9.0.2.0.
I took the SD card out from 8.0 and put in 9.0.
The system comes up with all the program and I can see it with the existing Manager computer same version software on same subnet(no changes done) or my laptop with 9.1.6.0 same subnet on Wan or Lan of course I change my laptop to 192.168.43.5 if I put my laptop On Wan 192.168.42.1 and no matter what I do I get network errors. Any idea.

I do not think it is a password issue I used the Standard Administrator/Administrator which was on old system and tried the Administrator/password I had on new system and I get network errors any ideas. (system running fine but need to solve for future changes

Hopefully you have a backup of the config.
With your old 8.0 SD card in the 9.0 IPO, press and hold the reset button on the back of the IPO until the power light turns solid red, about 30 seconds. You want to wipe out the config from the 9.0 IPO and have the system reboot from the SD card and pull up the 8.0 firmware. If this does not work you would be better off purchasing an upgrade license, reformat and recreate your SD card in 9.0 or even 9.1 and follow the same process of pressing the reset button so the system will boot from the SD card and pull its firmware.
Refer to the IPO installation manual for the reset process. There is also a bootp option you can use with Manager.

If vegetarians love animals so much, why are they eating all of their food?

The reset button should be pressed for between 10-30 seconds (flashing orange) to wipe the config.

Is the new chassis licenced to 9.1 (this is not config reliant, but hardware reliant)? If it is then all I would do is take the config from the old system (this is assuming you have a backup), format and recreate the SD card on 9.0.6. Power up the new unit with the freshly recreated SD card in it and apply the config from the old system. You then have a nice free upgrade as well.
