Howdy Techy guys and gals!! Our Sys Util card on our CS1000, part number NNTMENC82JXP, is showing a red light after lightning apparently knocked out part of our system and threw some breakers. In LD 135, when I DIS SUTL 0 15, I get the error; CCED5021 NOT A REDUNDANT SYSTEM. I understand that this is because the system is in SPLIT mode, but how do I disable and enable the Sys Util card to replace it?

Thanks for any consideration, and God bless you all!!!

In LD 135, have you used the JOIN command?.

Old report below

Problem
CPU's appear to be in split mode
Unable to see off-line side Health

Answer
CPU's appear to be in split mode
Online health indicates 26
Offline health indicates 22
Unable to SYNC.
STAT HEALTH in LD135 only shows the state of the on-line procesor
But in 'pdt' using 'IcsStateShow' gives the IPL health state and shows the off-line side as not being able to see the SMC card. (This site has a SMC ITG line card in use.)

Doing a 'JOIN' in LD135 fixed this

Hi again, Firebird Scrambler, yessir, I tried JOIN, I get "CCED025 Command is not applicable to the single CPU system".

Have you been able to plug in a serial port cable onto CP 0?. It seems that it might have problems and if you can't geet any output, then you might need to reinstall the software again.

What is the software version?.

Do ISSP in LD 22

Just faceplate disable the Utility Card and unsest, reseat and enable then SYSLOAD CP 0 and see what happens. You have nothing to lose and it may just come back up and sync.

The software version is Release 5, Issue 50 J, Version 36221.

Thanks again for all the inputs! Zigmo36
