Hello,
Quick question... I am currently running 2 18gb scsi drives in a raid 1 config. I want to upgrade the drives to 2 36gb scsi drives. Can I add 1 drive to the mirror, and re-sync? And then add the other drive to the mirror and then re-sync? Somehow it doesn't seem right that I could do this, but could I? Thanks in advance

1st you have to break the mirror, and the volume which would delete your stuff. Add the 36GB scsi. throw the data on that drive. delete the mirrored volume on the first drive. Put the data back on the first drive. Then create the mirror volume with the 36GB scsi, then all of your info will sync.

Confusing.......well its confusing me too,..to the point that i dont even think im giving you the right info.

Does the new volume have to have the OS installed?
