replace a m7100 phone with a m7310 phone

We are trying to replace a m7100 phone with a m7310 for increased functionality (Norstar Compact DR5 system).
When we attempt to copy the telephone abilities from another functional 7310 set to the new phone it seems to show that it copied the info but the add'l lines, pick up and other functions aren't there... Any ideas? It's just been too long since we had to work on this system. Thanks for any help anyone can provide..

You will have to program manually or copy another M7310. Set types must match.

You are copying Capabilities only by the sounds of it.
Configuration/Set/LineAccess/Copy will copy only Line Access
Administration/Capabilities/Set Abilities/Copy will copy only Set Abilities

Try going past Config and Admin to "Set Copy"
Then from there you can copy ALL.

System - copies Line Access and Set Abilities
System and User - includes button programming that the user may have programmed on their set such as a speed dial, pickup etc etc.
