Hello, I am trying to repeat my group header on each page.
I have a report that contains a cross tab in the group footer. The group header contains a heading that I would like to display with the group.

Problem: I can't get that heading to repeat if the group extends to a second page.

I have tried to check the "repeat group header on each page" option for the group, but that doesn't seem to work.
Would I have to define what a new page is to crystal so it knows to repeat the heading? If so, how can that be done?

Thanks for your help

Hello..
Jus GO to INSERT Special Fields and there we get the GROUP name so..jus double click and insert it into ur PAGE header...
Hope it will serve ur Purpose...
Best Of Luck..

Thanks for the advice. I tried it and it works, but I have to add another group which will require its own heading.
So, the report will include two groups each with there specific heading. Then I will have to take that report and include it as a subreport on a main report that has it's own headings. I know that I can split the page header section, but then I get into the issue of having to come up with formulas that suppress undesired headings. I thought would be easier if I could find a way to put the headings in the group header, cross tab in the footer, and just repeated the header on subsequent pages. As you know I don't know exactly how to do that. Any other suggestions?

You are doing it correctly, but there is a rule in Crystal that you should know. If the only thing carrying over to the new page is the group footer, then there will be no repeated header. In other words, there must be at least one detail of the group on the new page to repeat the header. Since your cross-tab is carrying over the group footer, the repeated option probably won't help you. Ken Hamady
