Repeat group header within group header

I know the subject sounds daft but I can't think of a way to display the report that I need.

I have a report where the page needs to be split in 2. The first half on the left is an image. The second half on the right is the detail.

I have so far created a sub report displaying the detail and placed this in the group header of the main report (on the right) and then also in the main report placed the image (next to the sub report) on the left side of the Group Header.

When the sub report data grows to multiple pages, I need the image to repeat.

I have totally run out of ideas! Does anyone have any ideas??

1. Put your image in the left half of the page header section.
2. Check the "Underlay following sections" checkbox for the Page Header section (in the Section Expert).
3. Format your detail records so the fields only take up the right half of your report.

Assuming you do not have any details on main report.

Place subreport in group footer. Leave image in header.

In section format, check the group header to underlay following section.

Then go to change group, select options and check repeat group header on new page.
