I'm working on access mailmerge application.

Within word, I have a table that needs to be populated X amount of times.

How can I get this row to automatically repeat X amount of times with the mailmerge fields in the table.

I have a macro that will do it, but I don't know how to automate the macro..
Anyhelp would seriously rock..
Thanks.

I think:

If you can define X, then just put a "next record" merge field in there. If you cannot define X, then I can't help.

Otherwise, I am misunderstanding your question.

When do want the macro to run? When a user clicks a button or when the doc is opened?

I have a nextrecord field in there.. I guess I could get X.

The table now has one row, the last cell contains the nextrecord field. Basically.. I need that row to repeat automatically.

To repeat what?

Are you trying to make something like an invoice statement? Something where you have, for instance, 10 records for one person, 8 records for another, etc.?

Yes, Something similar.

I don't know access or VBA so I have no idea when I'm barking up the wrong tree..
Just a guess on where to look would be a huge help..

Thanks!

Well, there's a tech article on it, but it sucks. Just plain sucks--sorry to say. I could never get it to work. To be honest, you see the wX thing at the bottom of my sig? I'm creating a Word Addin, and this will be one of the things it'll do. But it'll use VBA and bookmarks (I believe) and not "mail merge". Unfortunately, I'm not the coder and the code isn't done yet. Wish I could help more.
