This error occurrs when printing from reports runtime in Oracle to a HP Printer (1000, 2000, 4000, 8000 series pinters) To overcome this REP-1849 error, replace the print driver on your computer with a HP Laserjet 5si print driver. This driver offers all the facilities, except double sided printing, of the printers mentioned above, and it stops this error. If this does not fix the problem, try another driver, or get someone to check the printing properties on the report you are trying to print.

Ive got two machines with identical printer drivers. One gets the rep-1849 error the other one does not. Can there be another cause?
