Is there in Crystal 9 to do the following:

1. Assign a specific color to a specific value on the pie graph. For instance, if I'm trying to graph the same information on 2 different graphs, how can I assign a color to a specific description so that both graphs will have the same color for that 1 decription.

2. Is there a way to re-arrange the order of the legends in pie charts? Currently, everthing is arranged alphabetically by the description. I want to change the order of the descriptions in the legend

Thnx

I'm having the same problem but with bar graphs which are a little more complex (especially because I'm dealing with subgroups). With pie charts though it's much easier. I'm assuming you want to SPECIFY the order. Try this. Right click on your chart, select "Chart Expert", "Data", and in the "ON CHANGE OF" field select your field, then select "Order". From the drop-down menu, select "in specified order". You will then be presented with "Named Group" options. Create your specific order and then click "OK". You should see the order you've requested. I hope that helped.

Now my problem is that with subgroups in bar graphs you're at the mercy of the primary group (main bar graph) in terms of legend display order. The subgroup order within the legend apparently can't be altered. Oh well. I'll try to make do with what I have.
