i need to renumber the extensions on a BCM 400 4.0. I have 1 DSM 32+. I need 210 and so forth. Do i have to renumber each on individually or can i do it like a Norstar?

Either or. You can renumber them one at a time via element manager or change DN's through telset admin. I prefer telset admin for more than about two or three changes.

great, i found it thanks. maybe you can answer another question:

when i go into Administration / General / Hardware inventory: and then look down to media bay modules, i don't see all of my modules. I see DTM-PRI and Unknown. What I have installed is a DTM, DSM32+ and a GATM 8 module. Is this a problem?

The bus the DSM is on will show as a station module after you connect your first phone. The bus that the GATM8 is on needs to be defined as a analog trunk module.

i thought i did this correctly:

DSM32+
Bus 2
1 2 3 4 5 6
o o o o o o
n n n n n n

DTM Bus 5
1 2 3 4 5 6
o o o o o o
n n n f n f
f f
GATM
1 2 3 4 5 6
o o o o o o
n n n f n n
f

All ON is BUS 2 for the 32+

4 and 6 OFF is BUS 7 for the DTM

4 OFF is BUS 6 for GATM

Only the Set module can be recognised when you plug a phone in it. The trunk module needs to be defined, it's not plugNplay.
