Renaming an XP Farm ?

It can be done but you will need to build a new farm and migrate your servers into it. Assuming you are using SQL as a datastore the easiest way to do this is to create a new database. Build a new server, during install select the option to create new farm and define the odbc connection for the new database you've created. Install all of you licences into the new db and activate them. Now use the chfarm utility. You will need to recreate all of your published applications within the CMC but everything else should work fine.
