We recently got a new Posiflex TP5815 and had our Aloha people move everything over, and they named our terminal Term 99. We would like to change it to Terminal 2. I have tried changing the computer's name to term2 and deleting the old Term 99 in Aloha Manager, but that gives me an error message saying "Terminal 99 Not Defined". I did add a terminal 2 to the list of terminals in Aloha manager and still get the same message. Can somebody provide me with a detailed explanation to rename this terminal?

Thanks in advance.

You have to define terminal 2 as order terminal in aloha mgr maintenance/hardware/terminal
Check for clone as terminal type
configure default printer
configure mag card reader kb wedge track 2 if need
refresh data
---------------
On the terminal
Configure your terminal name as term2 in computer name
Look for file ibercfg.bat in the c:\bootdrv\aloha on the terminal
edit the text file
Put the value 2 On line term=
save it and reboot your term

Thank you. One more tip for you. You need to edit the downtime.ini file as well.
