Rename Command 1

is there anyway to rename sql command in crystal reports?

In the database expert, where you see 'Command' on the right, you should be able to right click on it and rename it.

When I right click on command only shows (Edit command - View command) I do not have rename option.

You will also see the instruction (Press F2 to rename). The Right click only works in some versions, and BO expect us to have memorised all the hotkey and function keys including F2 being a generic key for "Rename".

Personally I am happy with the cut and past hot keys and have forgotton most of the others.

Sorry, I didn't actually test this--just thought I was remembering the correct way. You can also double click (left mouse button) until the name appears like it is text within a text box--then just type in the desired command name.
