Hi,

I have 6 fields which make up a persons address (ADDRESS LINE 1, ADDRESS LINE 2... etc).

The problem I have is not all the fields have been populated (some have county some don’t, some have country some don’t etc), and so some reports have a gaps in the address.

Is there a way of saying 'if blank remove the gap?'

I would have thought a formula is needed, but is it possible to add line breaks so the address is not on one line?

Any help would be great!

Thanks

Paul

Insert additional detail sections (b,c,etc.) and place each field on one line. Format each section to "suppress if blank".

Alternatively, you can insert all the fields into a text box and format the box using common tab, 'suppress embedded field blank lines' check-box.
