I just upgraded a NT Server to 2003 Standard. The problem im having now is that when i transfer everyone's office files back to the new server, the file's attributes are set to read only now. So the user now has to save a new copy of the file. Is there anyway i can remove read only attribute for over 300 hundred files, without saving it has a new file? Please advise, thank you.

Right click the folder and uncheck the read only box, it sould pop up a box saying "Apply to all subfolders and files" select that.

I've seen two more topics on this. Check those, they might help!
