I painted a car for my son on Paint Shop Pro 7. I made a mistake by putting the number 99 on his car. He actually uses the number 31 this year.

My question is......How do I remove the number 99 and replace it with the number 31 without messing up the paint?

Is there a tool to do this with in Paint Shop Pro 7?

New to this........please bear with me!! Thanks, Amtrakk

Well PSP 7 is quite old, but were the numbers part of a seperate layer? If so, it should be easy to change.

No,
Actually that is the problem....I merged the layers...so now I am having a difficult time getting the numbers off without messing up the background paint.

Can you find the original image of the car without numbers? That's what I would do first. If not, then I would try filling in the numbers with the same color as the car, and see if my new numbers will cover up any remnants left behind.

Good luck,
