I have a list of replicas listed in the system table msysreplicas. Some of them listed are to machines that no longer exist or have had their machine names changed. When I run the Replication Manager, I keep getting errors that it cannot connect to these databases. Some of the end users also receive these errors too. My problem is, HOW DO I REMOVE THESE ITEMS FROM THE MSYSREPLICAS TABLE, so that they are not referenced by the Replication Manager any longer? Thanks in advance for any and all input!

Hi,

Have you found a solution to this problem as yet? I am experiencing something similar where I want to get rid of defunct replicas from my existing replica set and I don't know how. Any feedback is appreciated.

I haven't used the replication manager, but I've found that if I attempt to synchonize to the non-existant replica, I get the "will remove this from replica set" message. It seems to remove it only if I do this from ALL the existing replicas in the set (I have three, so it's not such a big deal for me).
