On my form I've set things up so that users are resticted to delete fields by entering a password before any deletions can occur. However I just noticed that on both my Form View Toolbar and my Menu Bar Toolbar there are 'Delete Record' fileds that permit the user to delet records without having to enter the password. Is it possible to remove these fields from my toolbar? If so, how and if not what can I do to protect these records from users deleting them that do not have permission?

Thanks,
Ryan.

There are many ways to change toolbars. The most common and practical way is to create your own toolbar, include only what you want, and specify on startup or on forms(depending on how many different toolbars you create) which toolbar to show and hide.

The proper syntax for showtoolbar is:

DoCmd.ShowToolbar "ToolbarName", acToolbarWhereApprop
acToolbarNo or
acToolbarYes (default)
